Look out for the new sergeant in our Angel Police Team. He is 46-year-old Chris Walsh and comes with a wealth of experience, having previously worked with the Met’s riot police, dedicated surveillance team and on gun crime initiative Operation Trident

Chris knows Islington well. He’s been part of the Safer Neighbourhoods Team in Finsbury Park and spearheaded the removal of illegal street traders at the Nag’s Head in partnership with local businesses, the council and the Crown Prosecution Service.

Now he’s looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know the Angel:: “I relish the chance to work closely with all business in the Angel AIM area to reduce crime, make it safer and increase the confidence of shoppers and everyone working here,” he says.
