Martial arts expert Paul Hoppe is now back on the Angel Police Team after a year teaching self defence to Islington police officers.

Paul is keen to continue with the team’s work making the Angel safer, and catching up with old friends in local businesses. He reckons things have really improved at the Angel over the past year: “I am pleased to see how much work has been done in reducing the number of beggars, and also how much safer it is for pedestrians now the main crossing from the tube has been moved.”

Paul is planning to run Safe Cycling and Personal Awareness & Self-Defence classes later this spring exclusively for BID members and is also happy to advise on any security issues you may have regarding counter-terrorism, especially if you weren’t able to make it to the recent event.
