While the Angel Police Team is tackling crime directly, Angel AIM is striving to make the Angel a safer place to be in every way.

• Designing out crime – constantly looking at ways to change the environment so the opportunity for crime is reduced. For example we installed the railings (left) to stop anti-social behaviour along the side of the RBS building at the tube.
• Cashpoint no-go areas - distinct markings ensure your personal space outside banks
• CCTV - after a successful campaign for more CCTV cameras in the street, we now have a total of 12 live locally, monitored by a central hub relayed to the police
